Old Already…

Its already June but no news on the coming National Wushu Championship and National Luminous Dragon Dance Championship. These old guys are really taking their own sweet time.

This year we will be seeing again the International Youth Wushu Championship at Jurong East Sports Hall. Hopefully it will be better organised.

Singapore had been very well-known for their efficiency and good information. From last year, the National Wushu Comp was cancel because they say Swine Flu. So what’s up for this year?

Parkour: the art of moving, is the physical discipline of training in which participants run along a route, attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible, as if moving in an emergency situation. The object of parkour is to get from one place to another using only the human body and the objects in the environment.

POC says it will fund Youth Games bets

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Olympic Committee will help bankroll the country’s stint in the first Asian Youth Games if the Philippine Sports Commission turns down its request for financial aid for the RP delegation to the June 27 to July 7 meet.

“We cannot allow the PSC to interfere and manage the affairs of the POC in the Asian Youth Games,” said POC president Jose “Peping” Cojuangco Wednesday after the POC general assembly.
