The object of parkour is to get from one place to another using only the human body and the objects in the environment.

POC says it will fund Youth Games bets
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Olympic Committee will help bankroll the country’s stint in the first Asian Youth Games if the Philippine Sports Commission turns down its request for financial aid for the RP delegation to the June 27 to July 7 meet.
“We cannot allow the PSC to interfere and manage the affairs of the POC in the Asian Youth Games,” said POC president Jose “Peping” Cojuangco Wednesday after the POC general assembly.

SBY wants a top-three spot for Indonesia at SEA Games
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has asked the National Sports Council (KONI) to lead Indonesia to a top-three finish at this year’s Southeast Asian (SEA) Games XXV, to be held in Laos.
The president pledged full funding to help the athletes prepare, adding he would immediately discuss the issue after the legislative elections.
