SUPPORT LGBT SINGAPOREANS AND THEIR FREEDOM TO LOVE
First time I’m making such a post in SgWutan with regards to my involvement in LGBT aka Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender.
Yesterday was at the Pink Dot Sg party, to support the freedom of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people to love at Hong Lim Park.
The crowd was great, which I estimate a good number of more then 3000 turn up, better then the AWARE EOGM Meeting. And by mentioning the AWARE Saga, I see quite a number was actually wearing the “SHUT UP and Sit Down” Tee and button. A number of TCS actor and actress also came by to lend their support, like Lim Yew Beng, Irene Ang and others.

Today, many Singaporeans harbour negative impressions about the LGBT community. Pink Dot Sg believes this may be due to a limited understanding amongst the populace. Discordant laws and policies aside, ignorance and fear are potent catalysts for prejudice and bigotry. This goes against the grain of a diverse and inclusive Singapore.
Everyone assumes that all Singaporeans have the freedom to love. The event on May 16th invites all Singaporeans to ponder this basic freedom and what it means for those who live their lives, hiding their true selves from the people they love.
The event started around 5pm where they start to form a letter LOVE. There were music and dance performance too. The photo shot was taken from Furama Hotel. At around 6pm, we started to form the PINK DOT!
Just before the pink dot, there was a lion dance performance by Wen Yang~
Of all the people and event, one really catch many attention is a PINK DOG~

yeah..i was there…took part in the historic event…haha
