Ride on with the wind of Wing Chun

From the time Donnie Yan stars in the first Ip Man movie, I had seen and hear many taking up the art of Wing Chun.

The “wind” just continue to blow when Ip Man 2 was screen. Now with The Legend is Born, the wind blow even stronger.

Not sure when it will die off, but I pretty much eager to know: “Why did you pick up Wing Chun after the movie(s) was screen?”.

All the 3 Ip Man film didn’t actually tell the tale of Wing Chun. Nor did it emphasize any thing with regards to the history, development and culture background of Wing Chun. It is purely the life story of Ip Man plus some frictional story board.

I do just hope that you don’t just ride on the wind of Wing Chun, hoping Biew Ji or Chum Kew can help you fence off 10 men and forgotten all about the “roots” of human. More importantly, if you are really keen on the art of Wing Chun, patients and persistence is the only key to fully appreciate and honor it.

I was particularly impress by the only gal exponent that did the Chi Sao with a taller guy. She was swift and steady. Or maybe she was a senior student comparing to the guy. He just keep shaking his head when the gal penetrate through and tap him, on various account.
