I have a email alert created on Google for any news, articles and blogs for Wushu, Dragon dance and Lion dance.

Recently, I received quite a number on DD/LD blog article by a Malaysia company – Star Collection Entertainment Sdn Bhd. They seems to be blogging onto many non-related sites with a replicate (similar) article and always ending with

“Star Collection Entertainment Sdn Bhd, the lion dance is a vigorous form of dance that is usually performed during Chinese festivals such as Chinese New Year. Our team established in year 1990. We are one of the World Class Lion Dance Competition Management Company.”

Only The Best for National Wushu Meets (M’sia)

360 wushu exponent, who are the cream of the crop from Malaysia had competed in this year’s Da Ma Cai National Wushu Championships, held at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium in Cheras on Aug 22-24.

They compete in three disciplines – taolu (barehands and weapons), traditional taichi and sanshou (Chinese boxing).

I have attached 2 video clips found on youtube that show case a superior performance of new style sports wushu from our neighbouring country.

How Bad Are You?

Don’t worry much, I’m not pointing figure at you reading my post. I’m actually referring to the National Sports Association (NSA) that is the highest authority for the promotion of Wushu Sports in Singapore, which include wushu, lion dance, dragon dance, qigong, etc. etc… Objectives in unifying various wushu organizations of different schools; to promote wushu, lion dance, dragon dance and qigong; to promote physical fitness and patriotism among Singaporeans; and to develop the martial spirit.
