Safra club got discounts bo ? heheheh b) i think i "heard" that lion dance performance for its members FREE is it ? Or only for senior members family only ? c) Don't tell me sponsor lion head can get a few free dances within a year ..then i definitely make a few celebrations at home leh Any inputs ?

Morning Mr Jkk
For ur question, i think u have to refer to individual troupes for their previliage
I believe most troupe will cai qing for their member at any price (ang bao) the member give. They will not bargain to the member saying "hey, industrial standard is $188 or $288 etc, please give at least that amt"
for more info, kindly enquiry direct to the troupe u wish to become a member

joining a clan trp may be easy, just fill in the application and start to put on exercise attire and you can start training.

Hi ct17
Saw your pm already.
wah i didn't know there are many "levels" of grps. - woman grp - hmm sounds interesting for pple like me ..hehehe Maybe ask wife to join this grp so u all can "brain wash" her the benefits of lion dance.
main grp and lion dance grp - got differences ?
Is it common to join multiple clans group ? Will there be conflict of interests ?
50plus pple join lion dance is to slim down. Actually it will be a eye-opener for members to follow the trp during cny to appreciate the "workings" of a trp.

uncle.... If you join a clan it is just like joining a club.. as for the group that you mention it is like a interest group only. you know Safra? It work the same also. Safra is the main club, but within the main organisation they also break out to groups like Photography group, running group etc etc.... People join a clan usually as i mention before are because they belongs to certain direct or province. but people like me, joining a clan - Lion Dance troupe is interested on their Lion Dance activity only..

i see - guess i will join the lion dance INTEREST grp then, depending on how the lion dance trp does its marketting ...
But membership fees goes to lion dance grp right ? Not to main club right ? Otherwise if fees goes to main club and money was re-allocated to non-profitable grp, then the lion dance grp will slowly be written off ...
do u have newsletter thing ? Most web site are pretty static and information have mostly expired ...
